The storyline follows a supervillain team going by the name "the World-Takeover-ers" as they attempt to take over the world, except (a) they are incompetent, and (b) by the time the team makes their debut, the world is now crawling around with sentient objects, superpowers, man-eating monsters, and eldritch abominations. Sure does make taking over the world a lot more challenging huh.
Content warning: Violence, gore, body horror, drugs, and various brands of horror... Assume any bad thing other than $ex-related things will happen somewhere in there.
Featured character: Gondo
(Self-proclaimed) ALIEN SPACE GENERAL, founder and leader of the World-Takeover-ers, and the future EVIL OVERLORD of Planet Earth. (That is, if he can overcome his own crippling incompetence first.)

Rhapsody, god of chaos, was slain by Tragedy, god of death against the wishes of the other gods. A hundred years later, a chimera named Aquila would ascend to godhood, deeming herself the second god of chaos. The stories of Here from Hereafter are a direct consequence of Aquila's actions. (and are also about fandom culture...)
